Draw For You

This three hour workshop at The Art Club at Dukes of West Barns on Saturday, 31st May, is a beginners drawing workshop designed for people who don't think they can draw. It is for anyone who would like to engage with creativity in a gentle, supportive and unintimidating way. During the three hours, we will learn about art materials, explore mark making, tone, shading, texture and form, using pencil and charcoal on paper. We will carry out a range of different techniques, approaches and exercises. We will draw from life using various objects, and learn how to really look at and translate an object. We will explore finding our own creative language and discover what we enjoy. Through demonstrations and guidance, I will provide feedback to help you achieve the most from the workshop.
